Chain Reaction Branding + Identity

Chain Reaction is a bicycle service shop located in Longmont, Colorado. Not only do they fix, build and tune up bikes but they promote healthy and active lifestyles by donating their time to their community. Whether it’s young bicycle beginners or cycling enthusiasts, they are all about educating and spreading their love for cycling to as many people as they can. 

The idea behind the logo derived from the singular chain link on a bicycle. By combining the original inspiration with the bike frame itself, I went with a more abstract version of the chain to keep it simple, but powerful using a vibrant blue to represent youth and the company’s passion for bicycle education. This logo is used on elements such as signage, uniforms and social media.
